From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 5/31/11 at approximately 1720 local time N851CB, a G450 was being marshalled to parking after landing at teb. There were 8 passengers on board. During the marshalling to parking N851CB collied with N303QW a falcon 2000 that was parked and unoccupied. The crew on N851CB did not report the collision to airport operations, port authority, FAA or NTSB. This incident was discovered when maintenance working the falcon 2000 called for a ferry permit to repair a damaged wing tip on 6/2/11 and the explanation of what happened led to this report. The marshaller and the wing walker involved in the marshalling were immediately sent for drug (urine) testing which came back negative on 6/2/11. The pmi for clay lacy was contacted and he stated that when he issued a ferry permit for N851CB he was unaware that the damage it was being ferried for was sustained while taxiing. Upon finding out the circumstances of the damage he notified clay lacy to have the pilots involved drug tested. Amended 11/01/2011: removed corrective action
