From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Description of incident: aircraft landed at Weatherford Oklahoma airport with the gear retracted. Causal and/or contributing factors not already addressed in blocks 13-16:aircraft landed with flaps in the approach position, due to turbulent winds, not providing a warning horn. The gear handle was found to be in the up position. Concern over displaced threshold on already short runway distracted pilot. Recommendations for systemic corrective action to reduce risk of future occurance: drill of checklist usage, verifying equipment instead of trusting memory, last minute check of gear before every touchdown. Comments: none
