From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Flight from sav to clt. Around the vicinity of promm intersection the crew was given a descent to 14,000 feet by ATC. The descent took the airplane into the clouds and the crew felt the beginning of turbulence and then suddenly hit a downdraft/updraft. Within a minute of encountering the turbulence a call was received in the cockpit from the cabin and the first officer was advised that a flight attendant was injured. The flight attendant broke her ankle. No damage to the aircraft. Mesa airlines inc certificate management office notified of the information.
