From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was attempting to takeoff on a private grass runway between two large corn fields. The takeoff roll began on the FAR left side of the runway. Tall weeds, approximately 5 feet high, had grown between the runway and corn field. During the takeoff roll, the left wing struck a large corner post approximately 16" in diameter and 5 feet tall, which was concealed by the weeds. When the pilot realized what happened, he aborted the take off and settled into a ditch alongside the runway. The left wing was dislodged, the nose wheel collapsed, and the propeller struck the ground.
