What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
On September 23, 2011 pilot planned on landing at private strip in Lyons Wisconsin, (WI92). The pilot noticed that the turf strip had an uphill slope and kept power in too long, planning to avoid an uphill taxi. The pilot did not know that there was a down hill slope near the end of the runway and braking action was not enough to stop the aircraft from running off the end of the runway and hitting a parked car.
