From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot of the aircraft received his IFR clearance while parked in the transit aircraft parking location. After receiving his clearance he proceeded to start his engines and began his right turn to taxi clear of the other transit aircraft parked in the area. Unknown to the pilot during the engine start the aircraft moved forward decreasing the allowable (swing) area between parked aircraft not allowing enough room between the wing tip of his aircraft and the tail of the parked aircraft parked in front and to the right of his aircraft during the right turn.
