From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed uncontrolled airport, after 11 minute of uneventful VFR flight airman entered left traffic, for an anticipated normal landing. Landing check list did not include a visual confirmation that landing gear was down and locked. Slightly higher than normal power setting was reduced during flair and gear horn sounded simultainiously with touch down. Landing was made with landing gear not down and locked. Pilot acted in a careless manner by allowing the gear up landing operation. Aircraft skided approximately 600 feet generally along the center line axis, coming to rest with a slight heading change to the right.1)aircraft damage summary: aircraft damage was restricted to all three landing gear.a.minor damage was evident on inspection to all three gear assemblies and associated component parts.b.photographic images verify this cursory inspection damage. Minimal damage with no structrual compromise indicated.c.recommend specialized inspection be conducted to further determine complete component(s) damage..2)specific damage: nose and both main gear; gear doors indicated scrape marking from ground contact. A.deformation of metal was minimal. Internal structural integrity appears not to be compromised.I.however, rework of skin is required. Ii.gear door support structure appears not to be compromised. Iii. Specialized inspection of entire assembly recommneded to ensure further airworthiness.b.no failure indications to damage of working components, I.e. linkage and connecting arms.c.no leakage was evident.d.no fire damage or overheating found.e.internal damage to gear spindles; I.e. tire rotation. Was not possible; recommend further maintenance evaluation be conducted.3)design integrity of the landing gear was evident by the manufacuter. This due to minimal damage resulting from gear up landing on grass surface.
