From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot attempted to land using runway 19. According to the pilot's written statement during his approach, the engine did not respond to throttle inputs and would not accelerate. The aircraft landed short of the runway, struck the dirt gulley on jacksonville road, bounced and then struck the guard rail. The right main landing gear was sheared off and the nose gear collapsed, the tip of one of the propeller blades was bent back 90*. Aircraft came to rest 418 ft from point of impact on runway 19. A/c was moved to remote facility and inspection of the aircraft was performed on 4/5/2012. Inspected fuel strainer and sumped both fuel tanks. No defects noted. The right fuel tank had about an inch and a half of fuel. The left fuel tank had about 6 to 7 inches of fuel. Attempted to start the engine using the right and left tank but it did not start. Removed pressure line going to fuel distribution valve, pressurized system to verify fuel flow. Reconnected line. And engine started normally. A review of the maintenance records was completed. No abnormalities were found.
