From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While conducting touch and go landings on runway 27 at Lansing muni. (Igq), the pilot extended his downwind to accommodate a Cessna 310 that was about 4 miles east landing straight in (about mid-field, before extending gear). After the 310 passed on final, the pilot resumed his approach and forgot to perform his pre-landing checklist. Pilot reported he did not remember hearing the gear warning horn. PIC of N6295Y landed with the landing gear in the retracted position. The runway was closed while the a/c was removed to the owner's hangar at Lansing muni. No injuries/no fire occurred as a result. N6295Y sustained minor damage.
