From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot had been training with banner tow operator for the previous 9 days. Pilot had just completed a banner drop and then returned to field to land. Pilot and passenger, also a commercial pilot, both report that PIC conducted a normal final approach at 65 - 70 mph. Upon touchdown the aircraft bounced about two or three feet into the air. As aircraft touched down again, pilot claims he was using the rudders and he inadvertently applied the right toe brake. Aircraft immediately flipped over.
