From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Witness stated that the aircraft was operating in the area at an altitude of approximately 200 ft. the aircraft flew south beyond the accident site and made a right turn. It then flew back north a couple hundred yards north of the accident site. The witness stated that it made another steep right turn and then "fell" out of the sky. When the aircraft entered the turn and fell, the wings never were leveled. The witness then lost sight of the aircraft and heard the crash. The crash evidence supports that the aircraft impacted the ground wings level and nose down.
