From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing on runway 6, the right main gear tire failed and disintegrated. Aircraft taxied off runway to taxiway r and awaited for ground personnel to tow the aircraft to FBO. Runway 6 closed by airport ops for debris removal and reopened at 1509 hour local. FBO maintenance inspected aircraft and found secondary damage to the right t/e flap lower surface from a dzus fastener. No aircraft panel was found without a fastener. No damage to the right main gear was noted and landing gear system and brakes were checked with no defects. FBO replaced wheel/tire assembly and t/e flap. Photos on file at FSDO.
