From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed northeast Alabama regional airport (gad), Alabama continuing to Peachtree-Dekalb Airport (pdk), Georgia. Flight was uneventful until coming in for landing at pdk. N826JH received clearance for landing on 20L and tower issued traffic advisory for aircraft (N3558E) coming in on final on runway 20R. Both aircraft were issued traffic advisories up until N3558E reported he had contact with N826JH. N826JH proceeded with landing attempt. The aircraft landed and ran off of the end of runway 20L and came to a stop next to the airport perimeter service road. All occupants exited the aircraft.
