From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon touchdown on runway 25R at Phoenix Deer Valley Airport, N9283J veered off the runway to the right. Pilot believes she experienced a gust that pushed the aircraft off the runway. Application of left rudder was not enough to prevent the aircraft from continuing its path to the right. The left wingtip was struck on gravel before the pilot returned the aircraft to the runway. No other damage to airport property was noted. The only damage to the aircraft (according to the pilot) is some slight paint damage on the left wingtip. Note that this has not been verified (other than by mailed photo) by this inspector, as the aircraft is based in carson city, NV.
