From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During a dual instruction flight the pilot in command failed to lower the landing gear prior to landing. privacy data omitted, CFI failed to notice that the landing gear was still retracted. This inspector conducted a practical test on may 31, 2012 and noted the same problem with the horn becoming audible at various flight regimes and airspeeds well above the published stall speed. The chief instructor, privacy data omitted, was advised as to this issue and told this inspector that they have been "working" on this issue. privacy data omitted Was advised that there is a negative transfer of learning when a student is trained to ignore a stall warning on a routine basis.
