From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

5049T had just landed on runway 18 at Denton municipal airport and begun to taxi to taxiway A4 when the tower requested that they expedite their taxi to taxiway A5 and exit the runway. As the pilot at the controls advanced the throttles, 5049T'S nose gear collapsed. The aircraft skidded approximated 100 yards and came to rest in the middle of the runway. Both propellers and the aircraft nose cone was damaged. 5049T was towed to a hangar and placed on jacks. A maintenance inspector determined that the nose gear down lock link assembly attaching bolt had been bent allowing the over center drag link to retract. This allowed the nose gear to retract when power was applied during the taxi. The two pilots and one passenger on board stated that they had not had any hard landings with the aircraft during their training session.
