From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was enroute from lhr-lax at cruise altitude, no turbulence, when a flight attendant was preparing hot water in a coffee maker for a beverage service. While the boiler was refilling, air in the line sprayed some hot water and steam onto the flight attendant. The flight attendant reacted by jerking away and in doing so, dislodged the coffee pot and spilled scalding hot water on self and another flight attendant, causing burns to arms, legs, and torso. A passenger (doctor) onboard assisted and rendered first aid. While still in cruise and passing slc, the PIC declared a "pan", which is a "lower level assistance required " call to ATC. A request was made to have paramedics meet the flight at the gate upon arrival at lax. The paramedics were waiting at the gate and transported the two flight attendants to marina del rey hospital. The flight attendants were admitted at 1530 PDT and released at 1800 PDT. One flight attendant worked her scheduled flight back to lhr and the other opted to deadhead. Both flight attendant's injuries were assessed as minor and documented as such in vawf company reports.
