From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On approch to jwn (john tune)the landing gear was selected down. Cockpit lights indicated the nose landing gear was not down and locked. The landing gear was cycled several times with the nose landing gear still not indicating down and locked. At that time the landing gear was retracted and an emergency extension was performed. The aircraft diverted to bna (Nashville TN) for landing. The landing was uneventful. The inboard main landing gear doors were damaged from contact with the runway due to the door configuration in an emergency extension.
