From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 1700 PDT on September 18, 2012, privately registered aircraft N4777V (B-75-A75N1 PT-13D) was on a VFR flight from cameron airpark (KO61) in cameron, CA, to Lincoln rgnl/Karl harder field (klhm) in Lincoln, CA. Two people were onboard; the pilot and one passenger. The pilot stated that, while landing on runway 33 at klhm, the aircraft veered to the right of the runway center line. In an attempt to maintain directional control the pilot corrected with full left rudder and got very little response. He then applied full left brake, which over-corrected and instigated the left ground loop. The right wing tip contacted the ground as the left swerve continued, resulting in substantial damage to the wing tip, lower wing spar, aileron, and fabric. Airworthiness inspection noted no mechanical abnormalities.a search of faa's databases did not disclose any violation, accident or incident history. Recommend informal counseling.
