From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reports having a three green, down and locked landing condition. Witnesses on ground state that the aircraft landed with gear in the down position and was observed rolling out after landing. Pilot reports that gear began to collapse during rollout and the aircraft veered to the right off of the runway. Post-incident inspection found the landing gear control handle in the down position. All three gear assemblies were found to be in a state of mid-travel between full up and full down. Landing gear gearbox rotated freely when operated by hand. No pre-incident mechanical issues were noted.
