From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

12/08/2012

A/c taxiied through snow patches prior to departure kenai airport (paen).

A/c landed Anchorage international airport (panc) from kenai municipal airport (paen). On landing at panc aircraft main landing gear brakes frozen. Aircraft was shut down on the runway, and a call from the aircraft for assistance to remove the aircraft from the runway. Runway was closed for 18 minutes. Company escorted onto runway with heated de-ice fluid to thaw brakes. Brakes thawed and aircraft taxiied to parking under it's own power.

Aircraft was inspected by company mechanics. All four main landing gear tires had flat spots on them, (note that none of the tires were deflated). All four main tire and wheel assemblies were changed and a "hard landing" inspection was conducted on the aircraft as a precaution (hard landing inspection ordered by company director of maintenance). No findings on the hard landing inspection.

Aircraft has been returned to service with no further difficulties noted
