From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On December 21, 2012, en-route from josefa camejo (svjc) to ft. Lauderdale (kfll) at FL 360. Passing position joses, ATC clears fly direct carey then descent to FL 320. Passing through 35600 feet, the flight crew noticed the cabin altitude indicator started to climb at 6000 fpm and the cabin differential indicator was raising. Flight crew performed immediate corrective actions and informed the ATC that a/c was experiencing rapid decompression and requested decent to 10000 feet. Passing FL 250, flight crew noted that the cabin altitude indicator gradually started to drop and pressurization back to work normally. The cabin altitude light went on and they continued to 10000 feet, then the cabin altitude light went off. They informed ATC that everything is normal and requested to fly direct to kfll. Crew performed a safe landing at kfll without any physiological effects reported by crew or pax.
