From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

According to the pilot, runway conditions were reported as one inch fresh snow over thin packed snow and ice on the runway. Braking action was reported as (mu) 32-32-31. The pilot recieved this information when he was less than six minutes from landing, while on the approach. This report indicates medium braking and good directional control.

During the landing, after the nosewheel touched down the plane pulled to the left, and spun about 200 degrees. The aircraft slid backwards into a small snow berm. Minor damage to the left flap was noticed after the landing. The pilot assumed this damage was caused by slush on the runway which was observed in the wheel wells and flap tracks.
