From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon landing the aircraft swung hard to the left. The loop causing the left main landing gear to collapse. The aircraft then settled on the left wing aileron hinges and slide to a stop. One tip of the propeller made contact with the runway surface causing light damage to the propeller. The left wing aileron hinges were bent opposite the direction of the slide. The left main landing gear drag link was broke in half. Airport personnel removed the aircraft from the runway, secured the left main landing gear in the down and locked position using braces and ropes. The pilot was not available for interview.
