From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was repositioning to engine run-up area from fixed base operator. While taxing and attempting to slow down prior to a turn by applying equal brake deflection on top of rudder pedals, the left brake failed, right brake engage and spun the aircraft to the right. The brakes were released to attempt to straighten the nose wheel but it kept turning to the right . The engine was shut down as the aircraft coasted to a stop but not before the wind milling prop stuck a taxiway marking light fixture.
