From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was in cruise flight from clearwater, FL (pie) to miami, FL (tmb) at 1500 ft and was west of Naples Municipal (apf) when pilot notified apf tower that the left engine had failed and declared emergency. Witness stated on final the right engine also stopped running. Pilot accomplished normal landing without power to runway 23 at apf without injury to persons or damage to aircraft. Investigation revealed PIC failed to follow checklist and mismanaged fuel by leaving fuel lever positioned to aircraft empty fuel tanks (mains tanks) when there was sufficient fuel in outboard tanks to continue the flight. Eir initiated for pilot. Closed action.
