From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was doing touch and goes at bjc rwy 29R. The weather was clear with light wind (5KTS<). On the 3rd landing after touching down on the main gear the nosewheel was lowered and after touching the runway separated from the aircraft allowing the nose to lower onto the runway impacting the lower cowling and the propeller. The aircraft continued for another 200 ft. with the nosegear ending up approximately 150 behind the aircraft. The pilot exited the aircraft with no injuries.
