From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 4 2013, at 0840, N6141Q, a Cessna 152, registered to c&g aircraft maintenance inc, operating as a 14 CFR 141, under dean international inc (D4RS), experienced an engine power loss, and made an emergency landing onto a two lane road in Miami, FL 33177, approximately 7 miles southwest of Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (tmb). Upon landing the left wing struck some trees causing the aircraft to veer left into a ditch causing extensive damage to the right wing and fuselage, both pilots walked away with minor injuries. The aircraft originated from Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (ktmb), for flight instruction, visual meteorological conditions prevailed, winds were out of the sse at 10 mph gusting to 19 mph, and visibility was 10 miles. The instructor had asked the student to complete a steep turn, before this could be fully accomplished, the engine experienced power loss. The instructor pilot took back control, declared an emergency and followed engine failure procedure. The pilot decided that they could not make it back to tmb, so an off-airport landing was executed onto sw 168th st and sw 213th ave. aircraft damage resulted in a total loss.
