From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed at kint during 8 to 12 knot cross wind. Aircraft landed and began rollout, started to settle on and compress struts when the right landing gear (non retractable) began to fold under the right wing. The aircraft settled on the gear with the most weight resting on the right flap. The brake line stayed attached and held the gear under the aircraft as it decelerated, slid approximately 420 to 450 feet to a stop. On runway 33. Two persons on board and no injuries.
