From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After landing cub N1947S at Lakeland Linder airport and taxiing off runway 9 onto taxiway A-3, pilot stopped the aircraft and contacted ground control. Pilot was given instructions to taxi to neel aviation via hotel and golf taxiways. Upon power-up to turn right on golf. The p-factor turned the nose to the left. Full right rudder/tailwheel steering had no effect. Pilot immediately pulled the power and went for the heel brakes, but the aircraft rolled into the taxiway sign sign and stopped - estimated speed was 3 to 4 mph.
