From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot during first solo flight. The first landing, made to a full stop, was uneventful. During second landing the pilot did not flare sufficiently; the aircraft landed "flat" and bounced several times before coming to a full stop. After one more flight around the pattern and an uneventful third landing the pilot taxied in. The instructor noted during a post operation inspection that the aircraft had been damaged.

Subsequent inspection found that the propeller had been struck, the firewall damaged, and the center keel was damaged.
