During initial climbout of klga the crew heard a relay clicking about once every 10 seconds from behind the captains seat. This prompted a view of the MFD electrical page, which showed the #2 DC generator carrying the entire electrical load for the DC bus 2 network, with the #4 generator available, but no current load indicated. During cruise flight @ approximately. FL210, all 4 engine driven DC generators dropped off the main DC busses, and as a consequence, the nose landing gear doors opened, while cruising between 290 to 300 KTS. The flight crew followed the qrh and an emergency was declared and the aircraft diverted to and landed at kmht, without further incident. Maintenance replaced the #2 generator and #2 generator control unit (gcu) and there have been no further events reported.
