On June 28, 2013 at 1210 CST, an ayers corporation S2R-T34, N455JM, owned by humphrey b flying, LLC, terre haute, Indiana, and being operated on contract under the agricultural certificate of hutcherson flying, inc., of forrest city, Arkansas, experienced a right main landing gear collapse on landing at hutcherson flying inc.?s Black Fish aerodrome near Heth, Arkansas, while returning from a routine agricultural operation. During landing, the pilot-in-command hit a mud hole in the unimproved portion of the runway, approximently 30 feet before the asphalt, contributing to stress loads applied to the right main landing gear, which resulted in the r/h landing gear lower support strut weldment failing at the main landing gear axle. Inspection of the right main landing gear showed significant internal corrosion in the inner strut tubing, inboard of the right brake and wheel assembly in the welds that attached the upper and lower landing gear struts to the axle. There is evidence of a previous crack in the strut in the vicinity of the failure point. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time. A flight plan was not filed. The propeller and left and right main landing gear was substantially damaged. The commercial rated pilot received no injuries. The flight originated at the Black Fish aerodrome, Heth, Arkansas
