From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot had just finished applying chemicals to corn and cotton on the farm and was landing to pick up another load of chemicals. Upon landing to the west the pilot reported that the right brake felt 'mushy' and then went all the way to the floor. The aircraft then began to veer to the left and the left main gear dropped off the runway surface into the grass. He attempted to apply full power to the engine to correct the drift but the aircraft's left wing hit the corn to the left of the runway and the drag spun the aircraft around and into a ditch. The propeller was bent, the engine broken, the landing gear damaged, and the wings damaged.
