Description of deviation:
Arriving brussels airlines A-330 was given gate 45 by ramp tower. Pilot used the narrow-body line for gate 45 instead of the wide-body line for gate 45A. Both lines lead to the same gate. By overshooting the line for gate 45A, the airplane narrowly missed the left wingwalker and did not stop before striking the right wingtip of qatar B-777 (A7BAF) with his left wingtip. This caused structural damage to qatar who was parked at the adjacent gate. Damage to the A-330 was limited to removal of the winglet and and dispatch with it removed.
