From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While in cruise flight the #2 oil pressure gauge began to flicker and the #2 oil pressure low light annuciator light flickered. The crew performed a precautionary shutdown of the #2 engine. The #2 engine fire warning light illuminated and the main fire extinguisher was discharged. The fire warning light remained lit so after 1 minute the second fire bottle was discharged. After 30 second the fire warning indication ended. The pilot declared an emergency with the Redmond tower and peformed a single engine landing at the Redmond airport without any further incident. It is suspected that the engine oil scavenge pump failed. The NTSB was notified of this report and determined it was not a reportalble incident.
