From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On sept 22, approx. 1400 local time at Scottsdale Airport pilot reported that he began to make inputs into the FMS system. Without the pilot being aware, the aircraft began moving and made contact with the hangar with the left wingtip. Pilot immediately shut down both engines and exited the aircraft through the main cabin door. Pilot walked over to the left wingtip and visually noticed that there was contact with the hangar. Maintenance facility contract to perform the repair to the wing tip did not classify the damage as major repair.
