From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On October 02, 2013, at 1330 approximately, a PA-28, N1590J departed cartersville airport (kvpc) to home airport, cobb county airport-mccullum field (kryy) around 1400Z with intent of practicing touch and goes. The aircraft was piloted by a single occupant student pilot. The pilot touched down and the throttle was advanced to take back off. Upon reaching rotation speed, back pressure was applied to the yoke, the aircraft felt light on the landing gear and the aircraft suddenly turned left and exited the runway to a grassy area, between runway 27 and taxiway bravo. The aircraft slid to the shoulder of the taxiway causing the right main and nose gear to pop into the air, and then came to rest on taxiway bravo. The aircraft sustained minor damage to the nose wheel fork and one propeller blade tip. The student pilot was not injured.
