From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated as he attempted to land he bounced the aircraft and performed a go around. During the second landing he stated he had three green lights and everything appeared normal. During the rollout as he applied brake pressure he said he felt the airplane wobble and could feel the right main landing gear collapsing. The aircraft veered to the right departing the runway surface coming to rest in a treeline to the east side of runway 01. Post accident investigation revealed an attach point phenolic block bonded to the rear spar had separated. The landing gear alignment bracket was broken in half and had separated from the phenolic block that was bonded to the rear spar.
