From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reported that he and one passenger took-off from runway 14 at cxo to do some pattern work, when the pilot selected the gear switch to raise the gear he heard a thump under the aircraft. Pilot stated that he never got the gear up light in the aircraft. After several attempts to raise the gear the pilot requested the tower for a fly-by to inspect the gear. Tower reported that the main gear was up but the nose looked cocked to the left.

Pilot lowered the gear, but could not get a gear down light in the aircraft either, tower confirmed that the mains looked down, but could not verify that the nose was locked.

Pilot landed on runway #19, when aircraft touched down the nose wheel collapsed causing damage to the fuselage nose and both propellers.
