From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon arriving at K07 the student pilot attempted to land on runway 09. The first landing attempt was aborted with a go-around. The aircraft veered sharply to the left towards the end of the runway and came to rest in the tree and bush line adjacent to the runway. The aircraft sustained minor damage to the left wing tip and the propeller spinner. No injuries were reported. The responding police officer recorded the wind at K07 as 290 at 11 knots.
