From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the takeoff roll from jvy on runway 36, to osu in N6758C, a baron 58, a gust of wind lifted the aircraft prior to rotation speed and pushed the aircraft to the left slightly. Concerned that the aircraft might strike the runway edge lights the pilot lifted the left wing. The pilot said the gust dissipated and the aircraft sank back toward the ground. The takeoff was aborted at this point. The throttles were retarded and she pushed the nose over slightly to ensure that the aircraft would not depart the end of the runway. While maintaining control the pilot slowed the aircraft to a stop and taxied back to the beginning of the runway. Pilot proceeded with the flight to osu as scheduled. At osu the pilot picked up the load and proceeded to lck where the damage to the aircraft was noted.
