From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Was practicing full stop landings from the front seat of this tandam seat aircraft, with an experienced pilot in the rear seat. The plane had a tendency to dart left or right instead of track straight ahead during roll out. In retrospect the pilot feels he was sitting too FAR forward and was using too much brake to control the excursions rather than just rudder. On the landing of the incident the tail came up, due to overbraking just as the plane was almost stopped, which caused the prop to strike the ground and damage the nose cone.
