From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During pushback from the parking space in Rio De Janeiro (gig) it appears that the ground personnel may have not inform the captain to set the parking brake prior to disconnecting the tow bar from the tug after the push had been completed. With the engine running and the tow bar disconnected from the tug the aircraft starting rolling forward striking the tug. At that time the captain noticed the aircraft veer to the right followed by a loud noise. The captain applied the breaks and shutdown all engines to investigated what happened.
