From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N209CM was cleared for a visual approach by ATC to the ckz airport and was advised there was no traffic in the area. The crew made the radio calls to tell traffic in the area that they were in the pattern for landing on runway 26 and received to response. On the roll out, the pilot of N209CM noticed an aircraft on the FAR end of the runway. They applied brakes and veered to the right which flat spotted the right main tire. 209CM taxied to the ramp and after unloading called maintenance who sent an mechanic who changed the tire and the crew flew the aircraft home. The crew was unable to identify the other aircraft other than it looked like a cherokee.
