From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot departed runway 32 at X49 behind the local skydive aircraft for two touch and go?s and a fullstop landing. The skydive aircraft climbed to 12000 feet and released jumpers and several jumpers had already landed. The pilot was on short final to the full stop landing when a skydiver appeared in the final approach path .the aircraft?s right wing caught the right side of the skydivers parachute. This pivoted the aircraft to the right 180 degrees and impacted the ground in a near vertical attitude short of runway 32 in the over run area. The skydiver landed in the over run portion of runway 32 approximately 52 feet from where the aircraft landed. No injury to the skydiver and pilot had minor injuries.
