From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft landed on runway 23 with no incident, taxied to the end of the runway, turned around and took off on runway 5. After a wide pattern the aircraft landed on runway 5. The pilot thought the brakes had locked on touchdown and added power to go around. The aircraft drifted off the left side of the runway. The left main gear struck a concrete platform followed by the right main striking a second concrete platform. The pilot reduced power and came to a stop in the mud between the runway and taxiway.
