From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

1. Pilot was at 80 knots indicated and felt a slight vibration as the nose gear started to clear the runway, at which time the vibration turned into a complete blowout of the nose gear tire over approximately a three (3) seconds timeframe. The nose attitude began to fall; the nose gear collapsed into the nose gear well, which the pilot states turned into a prop strike.

2. Pilot states he cut the throttle within "one second" of the vibration beginning, slid a long ways before coming to rest on the asphalt of runway 12R, just left of center-line.
