What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot was practicing a short field approach on runway 24 at Hyannis.
He had slowed the plane to 74 knots with
Full flaps. Just short of the threshold he pulled the power back to let aircraft settle. Just at the threshold or over it he noticed a slight ?bump?. He turned off taxiway bravo to the east ramp and taxied to the ramp. While putting the aircraft away he noticed the front of fiberglass main wheel fairings (left and right) had been damaged (no nose wheel or strut damage). The pilot stated the plane had taxied well without vibration or yaw. He called Hyannis ops to report this. They inspected the threshold for runway 24 and reported that two threshold lights had been damaged.
