From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During flight the pilots left rudder pedal collapsed to the floor of the aircraft. Upon landing the aircraft had full left rudder deflection and no left hand braking which resulted in the aircraft veering off the runway and into the grass where it spun and stopped near the taxi way. The aircraft sustained no damage and the pilot, after coming to a stop on the grass was able to reach down and pull the rudder pedal back into position and taxi it to the ramp without further incident.
